Vancouver British Columbia - Most of you likely have heard and seen photos of the new CP Heritage units painted in two slightly different
versions, one with Block lettering, and the other with Script lettering.
The first two of these units made their way West over the past week delighting people along the way.
So finally today it was our turn here on the west coast.
The two units currently painted in the heritage scheme are CP 7010 and CP 7015, both PR/EMD SD70ACuI's rebuilt from stored SD90MAC's.
Unfortunately the 7015 had to make a stop at Calgary, but we got a viewing from the CP 7010 in Script today.
Originally it was scheduled to arrive here on train 401-21 at around 11:00 hours, and a few of us here had planned to catch it on the way into Port
Coquitlam.
It beat us all to the punch arriving before 08:00, so plan B came into effect.
For me that meant a visit to the CP Shop and a handful of snaps there.
It wasn't in the best of locations, being surrounded by other power, but I got what I could and one of those shots is attached here.
CP 7015 is scheduled to arrive tomorrow.
