Kamloops British Columbia - Someone has been hitching rides from Kamloops to Vancouver on a freight train and posting their videos to YouTube.
 
Videos posted to the YouTube channel Canadian Rail Riders Club show footage taken from freight trains as they pass through scenic landscapes in Canada.
 
The first video on the channel was posted less than a day ago and now nearly 20 videos have been posted.
 
The Canadian Rail Riders Club appears to not be an actual club, but rather just the name of a YouTube channel with nine subscribers.
 
Hopping freight trains is illegal and dangerous.
 
According to the Canadian Pacific Railway's RailSense program, you might be looking at a hefty fine.
 
"Walking on railway property is trespassing and illegal. This property includes the right-of-way, which extends 50 feet from either side of the track," reads the RailSense webpage.
 
"In Canada, federal offences under the Railway Safety Act range as high as $10,000."
 
Operation Lifesaver, which provides information and education on rail safety, warns that train-hopping could cause you to face criminal charges and fines and potentially lose a limb or your life.
