Notch Hill is located at milepost 80.2 on Canadian Pacific Railway's Shuswap Subdivision. It is the site of a major grade reduction program carried out in the early 80's which opened an 11-mile section of new line between Tappen and Notch Hill - 25 Jan 2005 Leanne Stapley.
