Canadian Pacific Railway locomotive Number 2816, the
"Empress", participating in a Breakfast for Learning event passes Laggan Subdivision milepost 124 as it
approaches the summit of the Rockies near Resurection Curve. Not so appropriate a name now, but so named because this
is where firemen would resurect their fires after working their steam engine hard up the Big Hill at Field, British
