Shaw Cable Failure

Sooke British Columbia - In an area defined simply as south of Rhodenite Road 108 Shaw cable customers lost their internet, TV, and probably landline telephone connections today.
Commencing about 10:30 in the morning there was no cable service until approximately 01:30 the next day.
No internet service for a period of 15 hours is totally unacceptable.
What took so long?
Did you have to order a part from China?
Where's your back-up plan Shaw?
My complaint to Shaw resulted in a credit of $7.90 towards my next bill.
My skill set and time are valued at $50 per hour so in fifteen hours that adds up to $750, not merely $7.90.
Work faster or you'll lose customers Shaw.
