Prior to the opening ceremony BCER 1225 waits by the wheelchair lift on the Cloverdale station platform for its motorman to arrive. BCER 1225 will then depart for the junction with the Southern Railway of BC 3/4 of a mile to the southeast. There it will wait for Surrey Mayor Dianne Watts to board. BCER 1225 will then return here to the station where it will slowly break through the ribbons held across the track by the two FVHRS volunteers.
