The trip to the Schynige Platte Bahn (SPB) actually started in Interlaken Ost with a ride on the Berner Oberland Bahn (BOB) from there to Wilderswil station shown here, about a 5 minute trip. You're looking at the ticket counter entrance on the southeast corner of Wilderswil station where SPB tickets may be purchased. The overhead catenary powers the BOB trains.
