Departing Wilderswil the SPB route parallels the BOB until branching east. You are looking back along this train enroute to Schynige Platte which has just crossed the Lütschine brücke (Lütschine bridge) with the town of Wilderswil visible behind the bridge. This is the point where the grade to the summit commences.
