The camera has rotated 180 degrees to the left to show the train in the previous photo about to pass a waiting Up train at Breitlauenen. Once the Down train has cleared the lower switch the Up train will depart. With multiple trains running on the line there doesn't appear to be any physical evidence of a traffic control system, i.e. the passing of a staff or token, but operators are equipped with radios.
