Schynige Platte Switzerland - The SPB will restart the summer season on Saturday, 8 Jun 2013.
 
Due to the current snow conditions, the opening will be postponed for a week.
 
Snow removal work has been running at full speed on the SPB for weeks now.
 
The track is cleared of snow.
 
However, up to 70 centimetres of fresh snow is expected in the next few days.
 
Due to the current weather situation, those responsible have decided to postpone the opening of Schynige Platte by a week from 1 Jun 2013 to Saturday, 8 Jun 2013.
 
The opening offer to kick off the summer at Schynige Platte is now valid the weekend of 8 and 9 Jun 2013.
 
For a return journey from Wilderswil up to the Schynige Platte, guests only pay for the outbound journey.
 
Guests who already booked the opening offer online for the weekend of 1 and 2 Jun 2013, can rebook for 8/9 Jun 2015 or have the ticket refunded due to the later opening.
