No one was injured. Services will remain suspended for the rest of the day. The train of the SPB that was involved was en route to Wilderswil when it was derailed at the Rotenegg intersection. Six people were on board the train and no one was injured. They were returned to Wilderswil on a replacement train. The cause of the malfunction is being looked into. Currently, there are still approximately 100 persons on the Schynige Platte. They will be transported back to the valley. The operation of the SPB will be discontinued for the rest of the day.
