Taken from a train ascending towards Wengen the photo shows, in the center, the large roof over the BOB and WAB platforms. Notice the large concrete structure between the platform roof and the houses. Wengen is a car-free village so residents need a place to park their vehicles prior ot boarding the train to Wengen. The parkade is owned by Jungfrau Holding Company who coincidently owns the WAB. A cableway is visible at the top of the photo leading down to a grey coloured building. The cableway replaced an old incline railway that connects here at Lauterbrunnen to Grütschalp station on the Bergbahn Lauterbrunnen Mürren (BLM), a 4.3 kilometre narrow gauge adhesion line running from Grütschalp south to Winteregg, and Mürren.
