The camera has now swung to the right from the last shot and you're looking at the wye with its partial snowshed. Why a wye here? Trains ascend from Lauterbrunnen to here with the power car on the downgrade end so they cannot run straight through Kleine Scheidegg as the power car would then be on the uphill end of a train, a no no. Consequently trains work Lauterbrunnen to Kleine Scheidegg return and Grindelwald to Kleine Scheidegg return so a power car always remains on the lowest end. However, should it be necessary for a train to continue straight through, then it may be turned on the wye. Pretty clever these Swiss, but one expensive wye to construct.
