D&S 486 (ex-D&RGW) is an outside frame 2-8-2 Mikado class K-36. Ten were built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works of Pennsylvania and shipped to the Rio Grande in 1924 and 1925. Four are owned by the D&S, Five by the Cumbres & Toltec. One was scrapped in 1955 after falling into a turntable pit.
