It's not too early in the morning as the Dean Forest Railway volunteers get Austerity 0-6-0ST WD 152 ready for the days operation pulling the public excursion train back and forth between Lydney Junction and Parkend. The tender end (is that a pun?) of BR 5541 shows here as it too is being readied for a day's work. It will be used to pull the footplate experience train consisting of just one brake van.
