NRPC 100 West (National Railroad Passenger Corporation or Amtrak) is a P42DC leading the California Zephyr out of the new Donner Pass tunnel. In the day's sun it is pleasantly warm and the ski lift won't do any further business till next winter. Even so, there's still snow in evidence here above the 7,000 foot elevation. Can you spot the Foamer up a pole? I suspect his photo of the Zephyr might be much more interesting.
