The station
named Haig at mile 40.5 is eliminated and station named Haney is moved from
mile 102.8 to 103.0 effective 6 February 2003.
Mainline track between Vancouver and Calgary is all CTC. Consequently trains
do not run to a published schedule with the exception of West Coast Express,
VIA Rail, and the Great Canadian Railtour Company passenger trains.
There is a trackage sharing argreement with Canadian National in the Fraser
and Thompson Canyons. Normally, trains travel east on CPR tracks and west
on CN tracks between Nepa and Mission - Matsqui junctions but there may be
exceptions to this practice.
The North Bend switching zone extends from North Bend to mile 3.0
The Mission switching zone extends from mile 83.9 to mile 89.0
The Vancouver switching zone extends from Vancouver to mile 106.4
The Vancouver Terminal area extends from Vancouver to mile 106.4
