"We are a city and a country that was built based on the steam locomotive for transport. I want my kids and grandkids to ride behind a steam locomotive. The legacy we must leave for th future generations is a strong sense of our history which defines us as a community. Losing our history is like losing a part of ouselves." - Mike Lindberg - former Portland City Commissioner.
