Great Western Railway (GWR) will be affected by fresh strike action from tomorrow (1 Sep 2023) and a different reduced timetable will operate throughout the weekend.
Many parts of the GWR network will have no service at all, and an extremely limited service will only operate for a limited period, starting at 07:00 and finishing much earlier at around 18:30.
On Saturday, 1 Sep 2023, a very limited service will run on routes between Slough to Windsor and Maidenhead to Bourne End.
Trains will run as planned on Sunday with some changes to service start-up and some planned cancellations.
Trains that are operating are expected to be busier than usual because GWR will not be able to offer the normal service frequency and replacement bus services are not able to be provided.
Customers who purchased tickets but do not travel can claim a full refund or amend their ticket, and those who travel and are delayed by 15 minutes of more may be entitled to Delay Repay compensation.
Tickets for today and tomorrow can be used up to and including Tuesday, 5 Sep 2023.
