CP 9668 West passes Thompson Sub milepost 42.5 just east of Ashcroft near the Evans Road grade crossing which leads to the Ashcroft tie plant in the far distance around the bend in the river. The CN line is just out of sight to the left where it crosses a bridge over that bend in the Thompson River.
