Introduction |
The University of British Columbia (UBC) Library's Open Collections include digital photos, books, newspapers, maps, videos, theses, and more.
Their publicly accessible collections are constantly growing and reflect the research interests of the UBC community and beyond.
In 1999 the Chung family made a gift to the UBC Library with their donation of the Wallace B. Chung and Madeline H. Chung Collection containing more than 25,000 rare and unique documents, books, maps, posters, paintings, photographs, silver, glass, ceramic ware, and other artifacts related to the Canadian Pacific Railway Company.
Included in the Chung Collection is an excerpt from the Engineers' Club of Philadelphia titled "The Canadian Pacific Railway, from Laggan to Revelstoke, B.C." dated, 1900.
The folder describes the Canadian Pacific Railway route between Laggan, now known as Lake Louise, and Revelstoke, British Columbia, as it appeared in 1900.
