The Ecclesbourne Valley Railway has confirmed that their heritage line will be reopening and welcoming passengers from Saturday, 25 Jul 2020, following changes in Government restrictions in the last few days.
Anyone wishing to visit the railway can only purchase pre-booked tickets for the revised timetable that will begin from next month.
Also, many safety measures will be used to ensure staff, volunteers, and passengers have increased safety when visiting the railway.
The line will run it's Purple Timetable on a reduced number of days compared to pre COVID-19 timetables, made up of diesel engines hauling a train made up of coaches with individual compartments.
Many other changes have been made, with a full detailed list and ticket booking available on the Ecclesbourne Valley Railway’s website.
